Celebrating 40 Years of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Virginia

Join us for a joyful and meaningful celebration of four decades of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Virginia!
We are honored to welcome Virginia Supreme Court Justice Stephen McCullough, who will offer the evening’s toast.

This milestone gala pays tribute to the pioneers who envisioned and built Virginia’s mediation movement—from Court Service Units, Community Center Leaders and Judges to Clerks, community leaders, nonprofit advocates, and dedicated Mediators across the Commonwealth.

Their vision and tenacity helped establish a new way forward for families and individuals to resolve disputes with dignity, compassion, and clarity.

From humble beginnings in a pilot court program to a statewide network that now includes Juvenile and Domestic Relations, General District, and Court of Appeals, mediation in Virginia continues to evolve—rooted in service and focused on empowering people.
